On February 1, 2010, Mayor Mark Boughton announced his candidacy for governor at the Stony Hill Inn in Bethel, CT. Over 400 supporters attended the event.
Mayor Mark Boughton and all the elected officials were sworn in at the Palace Theater on November 30, 2009.
Republican Headquarters was an exciting place to be on election night. Congratulations to Mayor Mark Boughton on winning his fifth term.
It was a busy night at Danbury Republican Party headquarters on September 28th as Republicans gathered for a mailing.
On September 27th, the Danbury Republican Town Committee held its Fall Oktoberfest fundraiser at the Vespucci Lodge in Danbury.
A September 9th fundraiser was held at Spasi's Restaurant on Mill Plain Road to benefit Mayor Mark Boughton's campaign for re-election.
On July 27th, the Danbury Republican Town Committee held its 2009 Candidate Nominations at the Palace Theatre in Danbury. The public was cordially invited to join Mayor Mark Boughton when he was nominated as the Republican Candidate for Mayor and for the selection of the entire Republican Team.
On April 23rd, the Danbury Republican Town Committee honored Art Mannion with the J. Thayer Bowman Award at "The Reagan Revival" event held at the Palace Theatre in Danbury. At the event were Special Guest Speaker Ltn. Gov. Michael Fedele with Special Guests Mayor Mark Boughton, Senator Michael McLachlan, and Representative Jan Giegler.
